Job Title: House Supervisor in Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description:

As an RN House Supervisor, you will oversee clinical nursing practice and resident/patient care during shifts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.

You'll collaborate with other supervisors, provide guidance to staff, and act as a resource for employees, representing administration during shift events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct frequent rounds on the units to monitor patient care and provide staff guidance.
  • Uphold consistent standards of safety and care.
  • Ensure documentation meets established standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address unit-specific concerns, including clinical issues and/or safety needs.
  • Respond to any concerns by initiating timely action and documentation, following up with the appropriate manager.
  • Mentor new and existing personnel while supporting staff development and staff recognition.
  • Collaborate with staffing office in adjusting staffing patterns daily to provide quality resident care on the unit.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • RN license with 2 years of experience, BSN preferred.
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • CPR certified
  • Must be flexible with scheduling
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs
