Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a guaranteed number of hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and embolization
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of biohazardous waste and cleaning equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and technicians
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
