Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Mediacom Communications Corporation. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Operational and SOX audits to add value and improve Mediacom's operations
  • Review and analyze documentation to ensure compliance with established internal controls
  • Prepare findings reports and present recommendations to senior management
  • Identify weaknesses in control and processes, document main control points, and provide evidential support for report recommendations
  • Coordinate and participate in special projects and investigations as needed
  • Represent the Audit Department on special committees and task forces
  • Provide assistance to independent public accountants in their quarterly and annual financial examination of the Company's accounting records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
  • MBA and CIA or CFE certifications, preferred
  • 2 years of auditing experience, preferred
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
