Your Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Mastery: Deliver active and effective learning experiences in classrooms, labs, clinical settings, and online environments.
  • Student Interaction: Foster a conducive learning environment, serve as a role model for professionalism, and provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with instructional methodologies and engage in ongoing professional development, including CEUs when required.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of a CODA accredited program.
  • A Bachelor's degree required (in any field) with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene required.
  • Current and unencumbered dental hygiene license in state of employment.
  • Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a hygienist.
  • Current CPR certification issued by AHA.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
  • Documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments.
  • Current knowledge of the specific subject being taught.
  • Evidence of participation in workshops, in-service training, and scholarly productivity is preferred.
