Nursing Role at Albany Medical Center

A dynamic Night Hospitalist is needed for our Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal services team. This exceptional candidate will possess expertise in managing patient care, working collaboratively with nursing teams to create comprehensive care plans, and ensuring seamless patient transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of Patient Care: Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests while maintaining accurate documentation as per company policies and regulations.
  • Patient Needs Assessment: Evaluate patient needs for and responses to provided care, exercising sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care for all patients, direct and guide ancillary personnel, and maintain high standards of professional nursing.
  • Emergency Response: Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Compensation and Benefits
