About the Role:
As a Culinary Specialist, your role encompasses a range of tasks related to food preparation, service, and the upkeep of dietary tools and supplies in a hygienic manner.
It is essential to possess a comprehensive understanding of the operations within an Assisted Living Community, including adherence to regulatory standards. A genuine passion for working with seniors and leading by example as a collaborative team member is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals in accordance with established menus.
- Assemble and distribute meal trays to residents following community guidelines and serve meals in the dining area.
- Conduct daily and periodic sanitation tasks, including washing dishes, cleaning cooking equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the department by demonstrating reliability in job performance.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Inspirit Senior Living.
- Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure the safety and security of everyone in the community.
