We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher at the Wilder Child Development Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality learning and care for children aged 16 months to 5 years old. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to observe children's behavior, identify developmental needs, and document assessment outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include preparing reports on children's progress, assisting with lesson plans, and maintaining a safe and positive environment.

Requirements:
Early childhood coursework, current CDA, or Associates degree (preferred)
Previous Early Childhood experience preferred
Willing to learn and be trained
A commitment to working with children and families in a whole family approach
Basic Computer literacy
Ability to meet physical demands of the job
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
Ability to pass required state and company background checks
Able to meet Minnesota DHS Rule 3 Assistant Teacher qualifications, including yearly in-service requirements
CPR/First Aide certified (preferred)
