Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Telemetry

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Travel Nurse RN to work in Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Telemetry setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • NC license
  • Minimum 2 years' experience or 1 year with travel experience
  • Skills Required: IV Start and Telemetry
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH preferred
Unit Details:
  • Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
  • Floating required as needed to similar units
  • Patient Population: General Surgery and Medical Tele. Cardiac telemetry /medical telemetry. Various diagnosis requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures. Including medical tele patients. Overflow for winter census. Daily Census= 18. PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
