Role Overview
The User Growth team is focused on driving growth initiatives across TikTok's platforms with a strong emphasis on data-driven engineering and product strategies. We are looking for skilled professionals who thrive at the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering to help us scale to billions of users.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Mobile Engineer on the User Growth team, you will:
- Direct engineering efforts with a team of high-caliber engineers to address complex product and engineering challenges.
- Utilize data analytics to gain insights into user behavior and product performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Design and implement new features for our mobile application.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver an exceptional mobile user experience.
- Analyze and enhance mobile applications for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure the production of robust, maintainable code, with comprehensive documentation and high-quality deliverables within tight timelines.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in developing backend services for large-scale consumer applications.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
- In-depth knowledge of software development principles and the capabilities of the iOS platform.
- Ability to navigate and debug extensive and complex codebases.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Objective-C or Swift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile/iOS native development.
