Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team as a Mechanical Integrity Engineer II. This role involves preparing integrity and inspection reports, collaborating with engineering teams, and evaluating storage tanks and piping systems.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of piping systems and storage tanks, as well as experience with non-destructive examinations and project management.

Responsibilities
  1. Performs engineering duties applying standard techniques and procedures.
  2. Produces technical reports, written technical specifications, engineering calculations, and cost estimates.
  3. Serves as Site Manager or Lead Inspector of inspection activities, production of inspection and integrity reports, and determination of remaining life and fitness for-service of inspected components.
  4. Performs project site inspections and data collection, providing field notes and sketches in sufficient detail to develop inspection reports and integrity management plans.
  5. Obtains technical certifications relevant to inspection and mechanical integrity of fuel systems.
  6. Supports project management tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.
Preferred Certifications
  • API 570 and API 653 certifications.
  • NDE Level II certification in UT.
  • Additional certifications in MT, PT, and VT.
