Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting and leading initiatives within the manufacturing and processing sectors. This position focuses on driving process enhancements in rolling mills to optimize equipment performance and product yield while aiding in product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on product development by analyzing and modifying rolling processes to accommodate new product requirements.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of Vision Systems, Measuring Systems, and Surface Quality Monitoring Systems integrated into rolling equipment, including leading installation and commissioning of new systems.
  • Conduct failure analysis and lead problem-solving teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Leverage technical expertise to provide advanced guidance, ensuring comprehensive understanding of equipment impacts on utilization, processes, and product quality.
  • Develop technical solutions for recurring design, process, and application challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to align on process improvement objectives.
  • While primarily a first shift role, flexibility to work off-shift hours and weekends may be necessary to support ongoing operations.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of three years of engineering experience, with at least five years in a manufacturing setting.
  • Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Vision Systems and Surface Monitoring Systems.
  • Proven skills in industrial controls and programming languages (e.g., PLCs, C++, Python, Java).
