Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and aerosol medications.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current certification in respiratory therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
