Job Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Production: Assemble medical devices, utilizing documentation such as Bills of Material, product flow charts, work orders, check sheets, visual aids, and production reports to record results.
  • Soldering and Fabrication: Perform soldering, fabricating, crimping, mechanical assembly, taping, cable spooling, sealing, capping, clamping, bonding, and coiling.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work throughout the assembly process and communicate any quality or operational issues.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in correcting procedures to ensure consistency of quality and efficiency.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards.
  • Meet Quality and Quantity Standards: Meet all quality, quantity, and good manufacturing practices to satisfy customer and Regulatory Affairs requirements.
  • Environmental Conservation: Ensure environmental conservation by shutting off equipment and lights not in use.
  • First Pieces: Ensure first pieces at the beginning of each work order.
  • Documentation: Record documentation to labor sheets, check sheets, visual aids, production sheets, and work orders.
  • Audit Work Orders: Audit work orders daily.
  • Transportation: Use proper equipment to transport finished goods to the appropriate location.
Requirements
  • Age: 18 years old.
  • Safety Programs: Participate in safety programs, meetings, and trainings.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic Arithmetic: Ability to perform basic arithmetic with the use of a calculator or computer.
  • Color Recognition: Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Initial Detection: Initial detection of nonconforming components.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing: Ability to stand continuously.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop on a repetitive basis.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check and drug test.
