Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop plans of care for patients in the acute care setting
- Oversee and support Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy technicians
- Bill and document patient care according to facility guidelines
- Comply with state and national regulations regarding Physical Therapy
- Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure effective care
- Evaluate and create plans of care, modifying as needed based on patient condition
- Use medical center computer systems to perform daily tasks
- Provide timely and accurate documentation
- 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist, with new grads encouraged to apply
- BLS and state-specific licensing
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
