Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Host/Hostess to join our team at Hotel Don Fernando de Taos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, escorting them to their tables and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Assist in preparing the restaurant for service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Take and confirm reservations, ensuring accurate and timely communication with guests and staff.
  • Monitor guest needs and preferences, providing personalized service and exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant/Food and Beverage field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training, with alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, with knowledge of local activities and attractions a bonus.
