Culinary Team Member

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at Global Partners LP. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to order, using fresh seasonal ingredients and tested recipes.
- Work closely with our Chef and Sous Chef to create a warm and welcoming dining experience for our guests.
- Partner with local farms and regional purveyors to source fresh seasonal ingredients for our menu offerings.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing orders and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting with guests and responding to their needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Stay up-to-date with menu offerings and make recommendations to the Chef and Sous Chef for new and innovative dishes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
