Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Intrepid Global Solutions, LLC. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of our financial internal control systems.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to examine and verify accounting, statistical, or operational records and procedures.
* Ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies.
* Prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management.
* Support divisions and subsidiaries in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational and analytical skills, as well as a strong customer service orientation.
* Promote value and recommendations including efficiency, best-practice initiatives, and cost-savings opportunities.
* Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as ability to use appropriate judgment and discretion.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or a combination of education and pertinent and directly related experience, especially in government contracting.
* Ability to obtain professional certifications - CPA, CIA, CFE, or CMA within 2 years of hire.
* Familiarity with and/or application of basic accounting/auditing principles, theories, and concepts.
* Familiarity with industry practices and standards; including strong knowledge of reporting platforms and audit tools such as DigilentOne, Highbond, etc.
* Strong computer skills; Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
* Travel: Up to 25% - Must be willing to deploy overseas on short notice for extended work assignments to perform project audits.
* Security Clearance: MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A DOD CLEARANCE
