Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist II, Speech to join our team of hearing healthcare specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for administering audiometric tests, providing patient evaluation and treatment, and interpreting diagnostic results.

  • Administer routine and complex audiometric tests to determine patients' hearing threshold, degree, site, and nature of damage to the auditory system and course of treatment.
  • Provide patient evaluation and treatment, employing techniques consistent with age-specific concerns for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Interpret basic and advanced diagnostic tests and prepare reports on diagnostic testing, implications of hearing disorders, and treatment plans.
  • Evaluate patients' progress with amplification or other treatment planning.
  • Determine need for patient referral to specialists.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to patients and other departments.
  • Assist in evaluating standards of patient care, assessing areas of need or improvement, and making recommendations for updates to procedures.
  • Supervise clinical work of support personnel.
  • Instruct and demonstrate testing procedures and treatments to clinic personnel, medical students, and residents.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary testing and research projects.
  • Serve as a preceptor to audiology doctoral students.
  • Adhere to internal controls established for the department.
