Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to clients, adhering to established treatment plans while complying with the Nurse Practice Act and agency policies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient conditions and family dynamics.
- Communicate any changes in patient status to the physician and nursing supervisor.
- Implement preventive and therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Educate patients and families on safety measures, medication management, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain professional development through continuing education.
- Document patient care accurately and timely, in line with agency standards.
- Collaborate effectively with facility staff and administration.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Current nursing license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care environment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong observational skills and effective communication abilities.
- Good physical and mental health.
