We are looking for a dedicated Cashier with outstanding customer service abilities and a positive demeanor. This role involves managing incoming calls, assessing the purpose of each call, and directing callers appropriately. The Cashier will also be responsible for basic financial transactions and maintaining knowledge of standard accounting practices related to both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions from customers, accurately recording the amounts on the respective documents.
  2. Provide change and issue receipts to customers with precision.
  3. Answer incoming calls and guide customers to the correct department, ensuring timely follow-up.
  4. Engage with callers in a courteous, professional manner, aiming to reduce wait times.
  5. Address customer complaints tactfully and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  6. Support management with various administrative tasks as required.
  7. Maintain a friendly, professional, and efficient demeanor while interacting with customers and team members.
  8. Become familiar with departmental structures and internal processes to assist customers effectively.
  9. Organize and digitize documents into our Document Management System (DMS).
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Cashier or Receptionist is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills to convey customer needs to management and sales teams.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
