Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support to our patients and families. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Medical/Surgical Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, fluid intake and output, and basic and sterile specimen collection.
  • Provide patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse, including non-sterile soaks, application of non-sterile simple dressings, and perineal care.
  • Run errands, answer telephones, and respond to call lights as needed.
  • Perform point of care testing as trained and delegated by the Registered Nurse, and report lab values to the RN.
  • Provide and document comfort and non-pharmacological pain management measures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
