About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Technician to join our team at our Claremont, NH facility. This is a dynamic opportunity to operate and maintain facilities equipment, ensuring optimal performance of building systems including HVAC and fire protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting utilities equipment, performing general maintenance and repairs, and supporting facility-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facilities equipment, including air and water filter changes, problem-solving, and repair of various in-house systems.
  • Perform general facility upkeep, including replacing light elements, painting and repairing drywall, building office equipment, moving furniture, and performing building improvements.
  • Assist in fabricating and assembling in-house processes and systems, such as the furnace cooling system, air system, and other various facility tasks.
  • Maintain facility inventory and spare parts, including storage, repair, and organizing of parts and hardware.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in a technical field, such as Refrigeration or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or Electrician is desired.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a facilities related role, or equivalent education, experience, and/or training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, standard operating procedures, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
