As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure proper use of resources and adequate staff coverage.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to establish and maintain facility-wide nursing care indicators.
  • Participate in the Arizona Management System (AMS) to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • Ability to obtain and retain an AZDPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive on State business.
  • Current Negative Tb skin test (Mantoux skin test) within the last twelve months or a written statement from a physician, physician's assistant or a registered nurse practitioner indicating freedom from tuberculosis.

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Please note, enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
