Tampa General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Certified to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Certified, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist healthcare providers and staff with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks in a team-based approach.
- Provide information to patients to ensure they can fully utilize and benefit from our care services.
- May be assigned to specific medical specialties to help with patient care related to that specialty or may be expected to cross-cover multiple specialties.
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled in a timely manner.
**Requirements:**
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program.
- CMA/RMA Certification/Registration.
- BLS/AED Certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical role in a healthcare setting is preferred.
