Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a non-manufacturing setting is considered advantageous.
  • Experience in cable and harness assembly is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and follow directions effectively.
  • Basic mechanical skills with the capability to perform repetitive assembly tasks as needed.
  • General knowledge of hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with operating computer terminals and software applications.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints is desirable.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Some coursework in technical fields or an AA technical degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with helium leak testing, module, and subassembly testing and inspection is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Work is conducted in a manufacturing and/or cleanroom environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.

  • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers as required.
  • Visual acuity to perform assigned tasks is necessary.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate via phone and use a computer for prolonged periods may be required.
  • Comfortable using a ladder.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Personal protective equipment may be required where applicable.
  • Exposure to noise levels may occur.
  • Potential hazards include electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and debris.
