Substitute Nurse

Job Summary:

Natrona County School District #1 is seeking a Substitute Nurse to provide health services and support to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide acute, chronic, and routine nursing care to students with various health needs.
• Monitor and evaluate student health to identify potential health-related barriers to learning.
• Collect and document health information for accurate and up-to-date student health records.
• Act as a first responder in medical emergencies and provide emergency care.
• Provide student health assessments and evaluations to support student learning.
• Maintain student immunization records to ensure district compliance with Wyoming Immunization Law.
• Act as a liaison between school staff, home, health, and community agencies to provide resource information and collaborative communication.
• Report suspected child abuse to the Department of Family Services.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Possess and maintain current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing.
