Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at All Ways Caring HomeCare. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs.
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including toileting, oral care, nail care, and catheter care.
  • Transport patients, turn bedridden patients, and report any changes in patient condition.
  • Take out trash and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Administer medication as directed by a physician or nurse and record the amount and time given.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where the aide will provide care.
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, and walking for periods of time.

Salary Range: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour.
