The units heavily rely on a team-based mentality in which all healthcare team members work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes based on the Hartford Hospital values of Safety, Excellence, Integrity, and Caring.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit
- Work collaboratively with a team of Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, and surgical house staff physicians
- Participate in a team-based mentality to achieve the best outcomes
- Adhere to the Hartford Hospital values of Safety, Excellence, Integrity, and Caring
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required)
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire
- Minimum one year Acute Care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred
- In exceptional circumstances, experienced ASN/ADN nurses currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered
- Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through the Critical Care Graduate Nurse Program
