Family Support Specialist

Omni Family of Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our intensive, in-home program for youth and families, you will provide critical support and services to enable individuals and families to access needed medical, social, educational, and other support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate, link, and coordinate community-based services for clients and families served
  • Provide educational, role modeling, parenting, problem-solving, and individual, group, and family services using the Omni Family of Services Core Strengths approach
  • Collaborate with team members and be available on-call for crisis assistance and intervention
  • Work closely with assigned therapists to provide needed assistance to children and families in areas of expertise

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a social services-related field
  • Valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating on-call responsibilities, and frequent travel and client transport
  • Skilled in verbal de-escalation methods and universal precautions
