Masis Professional Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to elderly residents in our Assisted Nursing Facility in New York.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes in their health status to the nursing team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and perform wound care under the supervision of RNs and physicians.
  • Maintain accurate resident medical records and document care, treatments, and observations.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
  • Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and home-like environment and adhere to infection control, safety, and health standards.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and follow established protocols.
  • Participate in resident care meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving care outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Active and valid LPN license in the State of New York
  • Completion of an accredited LPN program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong understanding of elderly care and common geriatric conditions
  • Knowledge of New York State long-term care regulations and nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and attentive to the needs of the elderly population
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
