Overview

Expedite Tigers is seeking a skilled and experienced Class A CDL holder for our OTR freight driver position. This role involves driving across the United States, primarily east of I-35, with occasional flexibility to accommodate freight availability.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary based on your experience:

  • $0.57 per mile (3-5 months)
  • $0.58 per mile (6-11 months)
  • $0.60 per mile (12-23 months)
  • $0.62 per mile (2-9 years)
  • $0.64 per mile (10+ years)

Job Description

As an Expedite Tigers OTR freight driver, you will be responsible for transporting cargo safely and efficiently across the country. You will operate a 2021+ Cascadia Freightliner or Kenworth and enjoy a mix of drop-and-hook and live unload loads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class A CDL
  • At least 3 months of experience as a professional truck driver

Benefits

Our benefits package includes:

  • Detention pay at $12.50 per hour after the 2nd hour
  • Layover/breakdown pay of $100 per day
  • A sign-on bonus of $500 after the first load and $500 at 30 days
  • Mileage bonus of 3 CPM based on safety, mileage, and productivity
