This role provides direct clinical patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and provide support to the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and provide support to the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or policy.
- CPR certification.
