We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Scientific Search. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of CT imaging for attenuation incorporated as part of the Cardiac PET-CT. This includes patient care, physician interaction, flexibility in working hours and locations, and independently performing the CT portion of the Cardiac PET-CT studies that meet or exceed the standards set by the interpreting physician.
Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of CT imaging for attenuation incorporated as part of the Cardiac PET-CT.
- Ensure proper radiation dose to patient and to obtain quality exam.
- Prepare equipment and room for exams.
- Interview and assess patient for Cardiac PET-CT exam.
- Obtain detailed patient history to aid the physician in making a diagnosis.
- Obtain procedure consent.
- Verify that orders are received and with the indication for the exam.
- Complete all paperwork at the end of each workday.
- Prepare reports, maintain inventory, and perform other duties as assigned.
- AA Degree is required.
- Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent job experience required necessary to pass the ARRT (R).
- Minimum of six (6) months as a practicing Certified Radiologic Technologist required.
- Must maintain State Certified Radiologic Technologist License.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work in facilities with high patient volumes requiring completion of daily tasks at the end of each workday.
- BLS certification (required)
