Regional Bulk Chemical Trader

A strategic sales position with a regional bulk chemical trader/broker/distribution organization in Southern Louisiana offers an excellent income and career growth opportunity.
This is a home-office position ideally located in the Baton Rouge/Lafayette/New Orleans area, focusing on selling bulk commodity chemicals to large industrial manufacturing and oil & gas accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Call on large industrial manufacturing and oil & gas accounts throughout Southern Louisiana.
- Sell bulk volumes of commodity chemicals (Solvents, Alcohols, Glycols, Acids, etc.).
- Manage existing business and grow the territory through new account development and new business at existing accounts.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and sales strategies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of chemical sales experience.
- Knowledge of industrial and oil & gas markets in Southern Louisiana is beneficial.
Estimated Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 plus bonus and commissions ($25,000 - $50,000) based on performance. As business grows, so do commissions.
Benefits: Car allowance, excellent company benefits.
