Job Description:

This Certified Medication Aide (MA-C) position requires the administration of prescribed medications, observation of residents for adverse reactions, and reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and store medications in accordance with instructions of the manufacturer or pharmacist.
  2. Maintain neat, clean, and orderly medication room(s) and medication cart(s).
  3. Follow federal, state, and company regulations to protect own health and that of others.
  4. Immediately report all resident and workplace incidents to supervisor.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have an active Medication Aide Certification issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. A High School Diploma or equivalent is also required.
