We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Framing Specialist at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized customer service, helping customers find what they need and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Build relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored framing solutions.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards, ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining a secure store environment.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store experience.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to company policies and procedures to prevent loss and ensure a safe working environment.
- Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
- Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
- Physical ability to move throughout the store, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
