Intensive Care Nurse

At HERO Health Staffing Corporation, we seek a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $44,623 to $101,977 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
• Direct and delegate care to other team members, utilizing their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Prioritize ongoing professional development through education and training, enhancing nursing expertise and skills.

• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months critical care experience in an acute care facility within the last 5 years or successful completion of an approved training course/orientation and standard competencies within six months of hire is mandatory.
• Preferred: 1 year RN experience in an Intensive Care Unit specializing in cardiac, neuro, or trauma.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state in which the nurse will be practicing is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at date of hire, while Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within a standard grace period according to the PeaceHealth Resuscitation Training Completion requirements policy.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are also required within 12 months of hire/transfer.
