Position Overview: As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be integral to our imaging department, responsible for executing high-quality CT scans while ensuring the precision and safety of diagnostic processes. Your expertise and commitment will be crucial in upholding our standards of patient care and diagnostic reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging machinery to generate detailed and precise diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast materials as necessary and observe patients for any adverse reactions.
- Review and assess CT images to confirm they meet diagnostic standards.
- Regularly maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and contribute to patient care.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Valid certification as a CT Imaging Specialist (ARRT or equivalent).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New York.
- Demonstrated experience in performing CT scans and interpreting imaging results.
- Strong understanding of CT imaging procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent patient care abilities with effective communication skills.
- Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
