Job Overview

Ameresco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Smart Building Solutions team in Michigan or northern Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering energy efficiency projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily construction, administrative, and technical aspects of renewable energy projects.
  • Drive project profitability through efficient execution and change orders.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate project status notes and documentation.
  • Assist management with project accounting, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including revenue recognition and project setup rules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Development team to develop project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance and cost estimates to ensure reasonableness and accuracy.
  • Review and approve subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and customer safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of engineering, technical, or industry-related education is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of industrial power, electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience.
