We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Huston Engineering, LLC. As a Mechanical Engineer for Building Systems, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical design and construction documents for commercial building HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Assist in initial phase concept planning and review of system options under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Perform HVAC and plumbing load calculations using applicable computer software.
- Work closely with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for selection and specification of appropriate equipment.
- Create highly coordinated construction documents using 3D Revit MEP.
- Construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, construction inspections, and field troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in HVAC or plumbing design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Revit MEP experience a plus.
- PE license is also a plus.
