Job Summary:

As an MRI Technologist PRN at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality images to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities:

Prepares and positions patients for MRI exams, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.

Selects anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality images, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Performs patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination, providing clear and concise information.

Enters and monitors patient data, ensuring accurate and timely submission of images and documents to PACS.

Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Maintains a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Graduate of a Radiology program.

2 years of experience in MRI, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and protocols.

Possesses a strong commitment to patient care and safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
