Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a critical care respiratory specialist, you will be responsible for providing general and emergency respiratory therapy procedures to patients as directed by physicians and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' clinical condition and make independent judgments to modify care as necessary
  • Provide respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, bi-level non-invasive ventilation management, pulmonary diagnostics, and other respiratory care services
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Act as a preceptor and support the development of new and existing staff members
  • Participate in Performance Improvement projects and other duties as needed
Requirements
  • License to practice respiratory care in the state of Idaho or Oregon
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
