At L3Harris Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure systems and networks to protect our customers' sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply current systems security engineering methods, practices, and technologies to the architecture, design, development, evaluation, and integration of systems and networks to maintain system security.
- Work closely with government customers to ensure that security protection needs, concerns, and requirements are defined and implemented with appropriate fidelity and rigor throughout the life cycle of the system.
- Use methods such as encryption technology, vulnerability analysis, and security management to ensure the security of our systems and networks.
- Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation using multiple standards under RMF and derivative processes to achieve security authorization of supported systems.
- Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Collateral Secret security clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST equivalent) within 6 months of start.
- Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization processes, including RMF steps 1-4 and standard body of evidence package development.
- Knowledge of NSA Type 1 Certification of cryptographic high-value products and IASRD requirements.
- Experience in configuration and use of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCC.
- Program Protection and System Security Engineering experience, including support of accreditation activities.
- Experience with DOD and DISA SRGs and STIGs.
