Position Overview:
The Hoffmann lab is seeking a dedicated and skilled postdoctoral researcher (Research Associate) focused on understanding the impact of environmental and toxicological factors on circadian rhythms and their implications for pregnancy outcomes.
This two-year postdoctoral opportunity is supported by a NIH diversity supplement and is intended for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria outlined by NIEHS.
Research Focus:
The project will utilize both in vitro and in vivo methodologies, encompassing pharmacological and toxicological assessments, studies on circadian rhythms, and the effects of pregnancy on maternal, placental, and fetal health, using murine models.
The Hoffmann lab is integrated within the Department of Animal Science, the Neuroscience Program, and the Reproductive and Developmental Science Program (RDSP) at Michigan State University. These programs provide a dynamic and collaborative environment for cutting-edge biomedical and basic research alongside leading experts in the field. Our research primarily investigates the molecular pathways that govern reproductive health, circadian rhythms, and pregnancy outcomes.
