Clinical Support Specialist

West Virginia Employer is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to provide administrative and clinical support to our psychiatrists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human services and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Reads and routes incoming physician mail, ensuring timely delivery and scanning of client records.
Retrieves and delivers faxes, securing physician signatures as needed.
Administers drug screens and records results.
Completes forms for patient assistance programs and retrieves medical records for physicians.
Prepares electronic prescriptions and forwards them to pharmacies.
Orders medical supplies and submits accurate time sheets and leave requests.
Requirements:
BA degree in a human services field preferred.
Experience in behavioral health and/or medical field preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position requiring a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with coworkers, management, clients, and vendors. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
