We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a New Grad RN, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based research and nursing policies to ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized care.
- Collaborate with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to provide ongoing communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications using the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
- Document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care using electronic documentation systems.
- Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
- New Jersey Nursing license obtained prior to start date.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Required.
- Degree in Nursing required (AAS, BS, or MS).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers.
- Exceptional focus on teamwork.
- Dedication to ongoing education and the ability to deliver high-quality care based on a strong sense of patient focus.
