Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Job Description- Conducts multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
- Works under the direction of experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program.
- Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
- Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification required.
The ideal candidate will possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession.
Requirements- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
- Requires 2 years of experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic.
- Proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
