The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and/or Practice/Office Manager. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can recognize patient needs and symptoms in advance, prepare patients for exams, assist during treatments, coordinate tests and follow-up care, and record treatment in medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care as directed by the provider.
- Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum via pre-visit planning processes.
- Contribute to financial viability through service quality and clinical excellence.
- May serve as liaison with nursing leadership as it relates to clinical operations and quality initiatives.
- Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous healthcare experience, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
