Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to the Test Engineering team, ensuring alignment with customer project requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies and systems tailored to customer specifications, including the creation of necessary test fixtures.
  • Design and implement the testing strategy within the designated test area, engaging with customers to support the sale of their testing programs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer-supplied testing equipment, including the development of clear test instructions.
  • Provide technical support to customers, advising on optimal testing designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage technical projects collaboratively with the Customer Success Team, ensuring timely and successful project completion while considering technical feasibility.
  • Offer second-level support and training within the test field, ensuring the operational continuity of testing equipment.
  • Promote innovation in testing through education and training of internal colleagues and specialized personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with Test Engineering protocols, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong electrical and technical understanding, along with problem-solving and systems thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic and assembly drawings, as well as Bills of Materials and Test Procedures.
  • Familiarity with component manufacturer's data sheets and IPC-610 accept/reject criteria for printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards and audit processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
