Marine Painter

We are seeking a skilled Marine Painter to join our team at NSC Technologies in Jacksonville, FL.

The successful candidate will have 2-10 years of experience with solid working knowledge of shipboard and industrial/commercial practices, especially on military bases and industrial facilities. The role involves setting up jobs and spraying equipment, measuring and recording DFT and environmental readings, brush and rolling painting, general housekeeping, and gas-free pumping procedures.

• Set up jobs and spraying equipment for marine painting projects.
• Measure and record DFT and environmental readings to ensure high-quality coatings.
• Perform brush and rolling painting tasks to achieve professional finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment through general housekeeping duties.
• Operate gas-free pumping equipment to facilitate safe and efficient coating applications.

• Meet all requirements for Journeyperson Marine Painter 3, including previous experience and certifications.
• Have strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure job progression.
• Be proficient in reading job specifications and executing them accordingly.
• Understand NAVSEA 009-32 standard item requirements and apply them to ensure compliance.
